First Friday for Women
September 4, 2026
A small, free-form gathering for women wanting to build community.
For nearly ten years, Beana has gathered women monthly around the fire, around magic, and around ceremony. Hundreds of women have shared their prayers, fears, hopes, dreams, grief, celebrations, and stories. It has been an extraordinary thing to witness the magic, the healing, the friendships, courage, and transformation that have rippled outward from those circles.
And now, that monthly facilitated circle is evolving…
Every month on the first Friday, 10 women are invited to Beana’s house to gather from 6:00pm-9:00pm to hang out together and see what happens. No facilitation, no agenda, no teaching… just a rhythmic time and space for a handful of women to gather, to be ourselves, to meet one another, and to let something emerge.
We may share a meal, build a fire, tell stories, pull cards, tend the land, laugh, cry, paint, dance, grieve, garden, or simply enjoy a few hours of togetherness. This is not “a program” to attend but, instead, a place and time to practice belonging, to connect with conscious community, and to put some roots down into community.
This gathering is ideal for women who want to actively participate in weaving a web of togetherness for the long haul, for women wanting to actively support or participate in Togethering, The Gathering, and for women wanting to build community with Beana at Rootstock.
For those wanting to build this world together and lay down some deeper roots with Beana and Rootstock, Community Steward Lodging spaces are available. Community Stewards are welcome to stay overnight and share in helping bring Togethering to life the following day. Community Stewards want to practice reciprocity, co-create a culture of care of the land and infrastructure that is Rootstock, and share in the responsibility that allows community to flourish here.
