Registration opens: Dec 7, 2025

Meets the first Saturday of every month.

Space is limited.  RSVP required.

This gathering is here for your joy, growth, healing and self-actualization. Circles are open to ~18 women each month and, though many folks return again and again, new faces appear often and are always welcome. Circles are always a reflection of the women that gather, but you can look forward to sharing and listening, ritual and ceremony, songs and meditations, and actively working to conjure our highest expressions of ourselves, heal our hurts, and accept radical responsibility for our precious lives and life force.

These gatherings are designed to connect, release, empower, create, manifest, and tap into the energy inherent in each of us. Participants can expect to share, listen, sing, pray, conjure, feel and breath, though coming with no expectations is best.

If you feel the call to join, here’s a glimpse into what to expect as you arrive and settle into the evening:

Arrival

  • Please be on the land between 4:30–5:45 PM.
You’re welcome to arrive anytime after 4:30 PM to commune, but please come fed or bring your own eats, along with whatever you need to consume and dispose of them.  Head right to the Belly upon arrival.
  • If you delight in feeding the circle, bring true finger food only (no plates, bowls, mugs, utensils, knives, cutting boards, or clean-up required). Lay offerings in the room outside the Belly before circle and be sure to clean up anything left over before you depart.

Start Time & Late Policy

  • Moon Circle begins promptly at 6:00 PM and is held in the Belly (Rootstock’s 30′ yurt) or, seasonally at one of the earth temples on the land.  Please do not arrive later than 6:15 PM; Folks arriving late should skip the circle and come another night as it can be disruptive to have late arrivals. Circle usually wraps between 9-9:15pm. Please plan to stay for the full gathering.

Facilitation & Participation

  • Beana facilitates this monthly circle and may invite participation from attendees as it makes sense. Feel invited to bring a song, poem, instrument, or other simple offering and let Beana know if you have something you’d like to share. At times there are guest facilitators; if so, details will be shared in the event listing.
  • Reciprocity & Energetic Exchange:  This sliding-scale gathering ($11.11–$33.33) is a gift to the community and to all of life.  $22.22 is the suggested exchange for this one-of-a-kind gathering and allows us to keep the lights on the paths shoveled and the Belly accommodating for our guests without giving more than we receive.  The sliding scale ensures accessibility and, if you have the means, please donate on the high end to allow for folks without to access the circle.  If $11.11 isn’t accessible for you right now, please reach out to hi@rootstockretreat.com and let us know.   This circle is inclusive we’ll do our best to stay generous.
  • Moon Circle is open to all women. Though this is not a space for children, we do welcome young women who have begun their moon cycle. If you’ll be bringing a young woman to the circle, please let us know ahead of time.

Moon Bath & Sauna (Optional)

  • A Moon Bath & Sauna is available for ~1-8 women following circle from 9:30–11:00 PM. This must be booked ahead of time; access is $45/person and you will need to bring your own towel, bathrobe, slip-on shoes, water bottle.  The bathhouse is open in all weather and is an extraordinary way to integrate the circle and connect with amazing people in a really healthy way.

Stay the Night (Optional)

  • Dormitory-style bunks, semi-private lofts, private cabins, and campsites (seasonally) can be booked for the night (subject to availability). Overnight guests are invited to a potluck breakfast on Sunday 8:00–10:00 AM, followed by a community work project, a beautiful, ongoing part of Moon Circle weekends.

Upon registering, you’ll receive a confirmation with links to book overnight lodging or a Moon Bath.  Spaces fill so please book right away if you intend to stay and/or soak.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations within 24 hours of our start time will not receive a refund. This gathering often has a waitlist so, please, do your best to provide ample notice if you can’t make it so somebody else may.  Folks on the waitlist will be notified if a space opens up and booking is first come, first serve.

Co-Creation-Crew

Many of you have met or experienced our Co-Creation Crew,  the steady presence that helps to hold and tend the container of Moon Circle. These are the people who formerly washed a million dishes and tried to keep Beana’s cabin clean, light candles, keep the hearth warm, shovel paths, empty composting toilets, and gently weave the behind-the-scenes care that allows us all feel held in our time together.  Beana couldn’t host this epic circle without their generosity and help and, if you’d like to make some friends and learn how to care for and animate the temples at Rootstock, sign up and help us.

If you feel called to help tend the container, we’d love your support. Co-Crew shifts are simple, steady, and make a big difference.

  1. Book a Co-Crew shift: Co-Crew Sign up Link
  2. If you’re curious what each role entails, explore the checklist here: Co-Crew participation description and checklist

You will receive a confirmation email with details on when to arrive, where to park, and where to meet.  Please take time to read that email and resource yourself with the info you need to make the most of this experience.
