An evening of ceremony, creativity, and connection with our beloved plant ally, Cannabis

Cannabis Craft is a Rootstock gathering where we meet at the feet of our friend and ally, the cannabis plant, to commune, vision, and create. Working with any plant or fungus ally is something we take more seriously than anything here at Rootstock, and Beana continues to carefully welcome Mama Marijuana into the temple in a well-held, safe, sacred, and joy-filled way

For this craft, we invite you into hands-on creative visioning. Using magazines, images, words, and other materials, we’ll cut, arrange, and assemble personal vision boards that reflect what you’re calling in, tending, or dreaming toward.

Beana & Braelyn will be your hosts for the night and here’s a gist of what they have planned:

  • Arrival between 5:30-5:45pm on Friday, January 2nd
  • Opening Circle & Welcome 6:00pm
  • Intention Setting – a beautiful rolled cone or glass pipe as our talking stick!
  • An hour to cut, gather, find, and seek images from magazines & books
  • An hour to paste and collage a vision board for the year ahead
  • Closing Circle & Sharing

We invite folks to arrive having eaten so we can feast on creativity instead of dinner. Light snacks or finger foods to share are always welcome. Please arrive sober and unaltered so we can meet our cannabis muse together, in ceremony and presence.

We’ll provide a selection of shared cannabis flower (no vapes or edibles). You’re welcome to bring your own flower to share as well. We’ll have a few glue sticks and scissors available, and we ask participants to please bring old magazines, books, glue, tape, or other materials ready to be re-purposed.

This gathering is designed for adults and is not appropriate for children. Space is limited to 12 participants to keep the circle intimate and well-held.

If you’re new to cannabis, this will be a gentle and supportive space to explore the plant’s creative and connective magic, with Beana and Braelyn as your guides.
