Cannabis Craft - Puff, Paint, Pass

An afternoon of ceremony, creativity, and connection with our beloved plant ally, Cannabis

Cannabis Craft is a Rootstock gathering where we meet at the feet of our friend and ally, the cannabis plant, to commune, vision, and create. Working with any plant or fungus ally is something we hold with deep care here at Rootstock. Mama Marijuana is welcomed into the temple in a way that is safe, intentional, sacred, and joy-filled

Puff, Paint, Pass is an invitation into a playful and collaborative creative experience where art becomes a reflection of connection, trust, and shared expression.

We’ll begin with our own canvas and spend time exploring color, texture, symbols, words, or whatever wants to move through us creatively. After some time, the canvases will begin circulating around the room, with each person adding their own unique touch before passing them along again. By the time your canvas returns to you, it will have transformed into a collaborative piece of art shaped by the energy, imagination, and presence of the entire circle.

This is less about artistic skill and more about allowing yourself to soften, experiment, laugh, create, and be surprised by what unfolds together.

Here’s a gentle flow for the evening:

• Arrival between 1:30–1:45pm
• Opening Circle & Welcome at 2:00pm
• Intention setting using a rolled cone or glass pipe as our talking piece
• Time to settle in, gather materials, and begin creating
• Puff, Paint, & Pass collaborative art experience
• Closing circle and sharing

We’ll have a small selection of snacks, music, and plenty of space to spread out and create together. We invite folks to arrive having already eaten so we can feast on creativity rather than lunch, though light snacks or finger foods to share are always welcome.

Please arrive sober and unaltered so we can meet our cannabis muse together, in presence and ceremony.

We’ll provide a small and thoughtfully curated selection of cannabis flower to share throughout the evening. You’re also welcome to bring your own flower to contribute if you feel called. (No vapes or edibles, please.)

We’ll have paint, markers, colored pencils, brushes, and a variety of shared art supplies available. Feel welcome to bring any favorite materials or mediums you enjoy creating with.

This gathering is designed for adults and is not appropriate for children. Space is limited to 12 participants to help keep the circle intimate, connected, and well-held.

If you’re newer to cannabis, this will be a gentle and supported space to explore the plant’s creative and connective magic.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 48 hours of our start time will not receive a refund. Gatherings often have a waitlist, so please do your best to provide ample notice if you can no longer attend so someone else may join in your place.
