Cannabis Craft - Puff, Paint, Pass
May 2, 2025
Cannabis Craft….
…a new container at Rootstock where we’ll gather at the feet of our friend and ally, the cannabis plant, to commune, vision, and craft! Working with any plant or fungus ally is something that we take more seriously than anything here at Rootstock and, as we enter into a new cycle and new year, Beana wants to carefully welcome Mama Marajuana into the temple in a well-held, safe, sacred and fun way.
Puff, Paint, Pass is an opportunity to weave vulnerability, fun, courage and creativity into a shared art experience! We start with our own canvas and spend 15-30 minutes expressing our creativity. Then the canvases get passed around the room with each person adding their unique touch for some minutes until the canvas makes it back to you. By the time the canvas returns to you it will have transformed into a collaborative masterpiece – a reflection of the creative and connection from the room.
Beana & Braelyn will be your hosts for the night and here’s a jist of what they have planned:
- Arrival between 5:30-5:45pm on Friday, January 3rd
- Opening Circle & Welcome
- Intention Setting – a beautiful rolled cone or glass pipe as our talking stick!
- A couple hours to Puff, Paint, & Pass
- Closing Circle & Sharing
We’ll have some tea to share, a zingy and fun playlist and plenty of room inside Rootstock’s beautiful Belly to spread out and make art together. We’ll invite folks to come already fed so we can feast on creativity and not food but munchies happen and healthy snacks are welcome. We’ll also ask folks to arrive sober and unaltered so we can all meet our cannabis muse together and in ceremony. This gathering is not appropriate or designed for little people.
We’ll have some markers, colored pencils, paint, and supplies and everything we need. Feel welcome to bring your favorite markers, pencils or mediums as well. We’ll also have a small and well-curated assortment of cannabis to share (no vapes! no edibles! flower only) to share throughout the night.
Space is limited to 12 people to keep the circle right-sized and intimate. If you’re new to cannabis, this will be a safe and well-held space to come and gently explore with both Beana and Braelyn. Want to spend the night after our gathering and wake up on the hill? Let us know and we’ll book you a bunk!
