Cannabis Craft….

…a new container at Rootstock where we’ll gather at the feet of our friend and ally, the cannabis plant, to commune, vision, and craft!  Working with any plant or fungus ally is something that we take more seriously than anything here at Rootstock and, as we enter into a new cycle and new year, Beana wants to carefully welcome Mama Marajuana into the temple in a well-held, safe, sacred and fun way.

Fairy House building is an opportunity to bring curiosity, imagination, and a bit of forest magic into form! Tiny portals of imagination made with found natural materials, sticks, moss, bark, and anything else that sparks delight. These small creations invite us to slow down, connect to our inner child, and remember the magic humming beneath the surface of the forest floor.

Beana & Braelyn will be your hosts for the night and here’s a jist of what they have planned:

• Arrival between 5:30-5:45pm on Friday, August 1st
• Opening Circle & Welcome
• Intention Setting – a beautiful rolled cone or glass pipe as our talking stick!
• A couple hours to Fairy House build in the wilds of Rootstock’s orchard
• Closing Circle & Sharing
• Optional:  BYOS’mores integration fire to chat afterwards

We’ll have some tea to share, a zingy and fun playlist and plenty of room to spread out and make art together.  If it rains, we’ll have a surprise craft ready to do instead!!  We invite folks to come already fed so we can feast on creativity and not food but folks are welcome and encouraged to pack a lunch box with snacks and joy to have and share.  We’ll also ask folks to arrive sober and unaltered so we can all meet our cannabis muse together and in ceremony.  This gathering is not appropriate or designed for little people.

We’ll have materials from the hill, moss, twigs, bark, and invite you to bring any biodegradable artifacts that you might enjoy building with including dried flowers, drift wood, shells, crystals, etc.  We’ll also have a small and well-curated assortment of cannabis to share (no vapes! no edibles! flower only) to share throughout the night and you’re also welcome to bring flower to share.

Space is limited to 10 people to keep the circle right-sized and intimate.  If you’re new to cannabis, this will be a safe and well-held space to come and gently explore with both Beana and Braelyn.  Want to spend the night after our gathering and wake up on the hill?  Let us know and we’ll book you a bunk!
